I need to know if watching videos online to achieve sexual stimulation is a sin. I am not watching porn, but it is something that I watch to arouse me. Is this a sin? Please, serious answers only.

Only the law imputes sin: Romans 5:13.
We are not under the law, but under grace.
Grace does not law impute sin: 2Cor 5:19,
for law imputed sin also has a death sting.

Yes it is a sin, adultery. but there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you don’t let it take control of your life. As long as you are in control of your body and are not letting it be controlled by your urges then its perfectly fine.

Of course if you think it is a problem you should pray and ask for God to talk to you and help you get over it if you feel the need to do so.

Go ahead. God turns his face the other way when he sees you do that anyway

    Dear John,

I think I will refer you to Pastor John Piper’s sermon and website to answer that question (http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/Sermons/ByDate/1981/280_Sex_and_the_Single_Person/). In his sermon entitled, "Sex and the Single Person", Pastor Piper reminds us that our body should be used for the glory of God and that everything we do, as followers of Christ, we should do in faith. The text of the sermon will walk you through a biblical perspective of sexual desire and fulfillment. If you are struggling with the sin of lust, I urge you to: 1) confess it to God and 2) talk to your pastor and trusted brothers-in-Christ for prayer and accountability.

Yes it is definitely a sin. It is sinful to arouse yourself intentionally from another thought other than sex in marriage because that is what sexual pleasure was meant for. Even fantasizing about sex in marriage for the sake of arousing onself can be immature and should be grown out of.

God wants us to have the pleasure of sex, but he wants us to get married.
