Are you feeling dysfunctional and unable to perform simple tasks, because you are made to feel like a 4th class citizen? Are you feeling anxious and suicidal because you feel your human dignity is being taken away from you? Are you sad and mental disturbed and depressed because you are unable to marry the person you have choice? Do you cut yourself, do drugs, and lacking in sexual arousal because of the gay marriage ban?
You may hestitate to answer, but these types of questions were asked by the judge during the California Prop 8 case.
4th class citizen:
1. Blacks who can marry
2. Whites and others who can marry
3. Married gays
4. And you who are gay and unmarried

1. No
2. No
3. No
4. No
Your question doesn’t make sense. Why would any of these issues cause a mental disorder?

This is probably a question best answered by a gay couple who have suffered under the gay marriage ban. In my opinion, it’s a violation of human rights, but you have to remember that there are groups of people who band together and vote no on just about everything. They are known as activists, and though their numbers are few, their agendas appear to be mighty. I would suggest for your happiness and peace of mind, that you move to a state that allows gay marriage. I believe there are about six of them in existence today. I believe in live and let live. Two people of the same gender, who love and are committed to one another are hurting no one, but the laws against their legal unions date back to the Dark Ages, unfortunately. Keep on fighting for your rights. That’s what the folks in the gay marriage states have done to make their dreams come true. Good luck!
