I have been experiencing sexual dysfunction from Zoloft (which I’ve been on for almost a year). I’m starting Wellbutrin now to combat these side effects, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with this alleviating sexual dysfunction?
I’m mainly wondering how long it takes to kick in. I’ve heard a ton of different things… from it working immediately to taking a month. Thanks!

Yes, I went from 20 mg of Lexapro to 10 mg Lexapro and 150 mg Wellbutrin SR – and that made a big difference
I didn’t notice any differences doing that as far as depression, or any side effects.
Lexapro and Zoloft are both SSRI’s, so the results should (hopefully!) be similar for you.

I am hoping it was your doctor that put you on another anti-depressant. I think you would be wise to search the web and talk to your pharmacist about this. In the mean time, try and consider that your mental health far outweighs any sexual dysfunctions you may have.
