my older brother said he was confused because i say i am asexual and is a transgender. he wants to know why i want a vagina and boobs but do not want to have somebody poke a penis or a toy into it. and i keep trying to tell him it is to make me feel more in the correct body, but he is still confused, so i have to ask, is getting a sex change have to be related in any way to sexual activity?

Being transsexual does not dictate your sexual orientation.
Your brother is very confused. Unfortunately, that is common as most people associate transsexualism with sexual activity.

Sexual orientation and gender identity are completely separate issues. Your brother is an idiot.
Transsexual people can be straight, gay/lesbian, bisexual or ASEXUAL just like everyone else.

You just want your body to match the image and map that is in your brain. What you do with your body is a totally different topic.

No way, transition has nothing to do with your sexuality. It has to do with your gender and your comfort with the body you are put in.

Yes you can be a transsexual woman and be asexual at the same time, because gender identity and sexual orientation are two completely separate things.

Your sexual orientation or desires have nothing to do with your gender identity.
