So.. let’s say for the sake of an example that I tie a woman to my bed and shove my fist up her butt.
Is what I am doing legally rape or not? I didn’t have sex with her but I definitely did forced sexual activity?
Would this be rape? Sexual assault?

Yes, forcibly [or against the victim's will] inserting any object into the victim’s body orifice, in a sexual context, is rape.
Forcing the victim to perform sexual acts is also rape.
Lesser forced sexual activities– fondling or kissing, for example– are sexual assault but not rape.
