Not for everyone. When it comes to sex, it really comes down to what is normal activity for the individual. For some people, not having sex often or frequently is very normal for them or it is a choice that they have willingly made, and would have no psychological bearing whatsoever. For someone who needed a frequent amount, and was not able to obtain it for a while, it could have a little bit of an effect on their psychological well-being. It all really depends on the individual.

Well, not being a doctor at all, I would have to say that it only affects his/her psychological behavior if they are repressing something, or controlling themselves not to. However, it is very true that one’s psychological state will effect their sexual behaviors and activities. Depression, aggression, PTSD, can all change how, when and how often people will have sex, along with many other conditions I’m sure, but this is just what I’ve experienced.

  9. Jeng Says:

I think it does, not getting your needs met causes people to act out and when that happens they are irrational and very easily influenced

    of course it does.

If you’ve been having sex regularly you might miss it when it’s not there. Some people get bummed out by this because they think it means they’re unattractive or something. Not true. We all go through "dry spells" and you can’t equate sex with being attractive. I think that if a person’s behaviour is affected by a paucity of sex, then that person is attaching too much importance to sex.
