I am 15 years old and im a boy… I really dont want to go into alot of details because it would take forever.. About almost a year ago i think i was suicidal, severely depressed, severely anxous, cutting myself and starving myself.. I went on prozac while i was being counseled.. i took it for a long long time.. Prozac i hated because it literally rendered me incapable of feelling emotion due to how its an ssri and it stops the reuptake of serotonin while simaltaneously dropping dopamine transmission and dopamine AKA (the neurotransmitter repsonsible for allowing you to feel emotion!!!)…. i stopped taking prozac abrubptly..( I have been on ssri’s as a child so i knew what i was in for).. after i went through the withdrawal i swicted myself over to a bottle dated 07 2009 of wellbutrin sr.. wellbutrin is an ndri or norepinephrine dopamine reuptake inhibitor.. i switched because i cant feeel emotion and i am 15 years old with sexual arousal disorder and erectile dysfunction from prozac.. in order to reverse it i switched to a medidcation that raises the transmission of both norepinephrine and dopamine which would allow me to feel emotion… i started taking it half way throught my prozac withdrawal
I then told my psychiatrist that naughty thing i did without supervision but she then said althought it wasnt somethign she recommended i do i did enough research according to her that i actually switched right over to the medication she was going to switch me on only instead of the sr she would switch me to xl
The bottle im taking barely has any effect on me ???

since its from 07 2009 does that mean its effects and potency are gone completely….
i havent noticed what im looking for and switched over for and that was to feel emotion again both good and bad and be abel to get aroused and be able to get errections
I would like to know if because it is yearrrss old if that has any effect on its potency and the reason it isnt seeming to have an effect keeping in mind i gave it a month to initiate into my body
people who have experiences with wellbutrin and general knowledge of what the effects of time and erosion have on the potency of a pill of wellbutrin sr
