There are no studies that are scientifically proven but I’ve heard many boxers on training do not have sex to keep their focus and mental energy in their upcoming fights. In most cases, their families are not even there with them in training camp. Its just the fighters, their trainers, and nutrionists. This provides them more concentration and focus for a big fight. So sex may be distruptive to a boxer’s performance because it may change a fighter’s composure, fighting desire, weaken one’s mental energy, distrupt the flow of positive energy, and destabilize a fighter’s mindset.

Not that i know of. But i wouldnt try if it was a big fight (world championship)

No it’s unproven lore, but it’s old school common sense that if you expend a lot of energy engaging in activity outside the ring, you will have less to give during the fight.

when you nut you lose zinc. there are actually quite a few negative effects of male ejaculation, but on the other hand sexual arousal increases testosterone levels

Yeah i was reading Oscar De La Hoys’s book and he did it all through training camp with his girlfriend and he performed badly in his nextt fight but he still won . lol
