Is a penis a muscle?

Thu, Mar 4, 2010

General

Besides sexual stimulation, I know of some methods (whether its legit or not) that works out the penis through excercise.

Supposedly, these exercises can make the penis stronger.
First off, is it true? Because it would make sense if the penis is considered a muscle, because with muscle, you can always build mass. But I figure, because the penis is so different, I don’t know if its possible.

The exercise consist of putting on a light weight attachment and then lifting it similarly to a bicep curl.

Pills don’t work! So no need to make that suggestion.

No, it is not a muscle like the rest throughout your body. It does have some muscle attachments to it, however it is considered an organ (as is the stomach/intestines etc) and not a regular muscle.

Those stretching and weight lifting exercises don’t work for the simple reason that the penis is not a regular muscle. The other problem is that if you consistently stretch your penis, you risk rupturing your urethra which is a painful procedure to fix (and probably not one you want to have to tell your mother about)

If you really really enjoy doing it then thats one thing, however it isn’t going to make you any bigger down there, and you probably need to weigh up the pro’s and con’s.

    no, that won’t work.

Can I make my penis bigger?
If you pay a plastic surgeon several thousand dollars, your penis can become fatter, but not really longer. And you know what? That’s really the only method of penis enlargement that works. Everything else — particularly pills sold through magazines and the Internet — is a scam, aimed at malekind’s #1 biggest insecurity. Some devices involving suction or vacuum can actually injure your penis. Instead of trying to change it, learn to accept your penis exactly the way it is. It’s amazing how much incredible pleasure it can provide.

A penis is called an organ for a reason. It is not a muscle.
