Religious motivation is assumed here. I tend to think it is tougher for a man since rape is more often attributed to a man.

Sex is not always so important to older people
It becomes more a choice then a motivation.
Some older men really slow down as they get older
Every thing seems to slow down when you get older.
When you are young I think it is best not to make or take any oaths
or promises that one might feel terrible guilt for later .
Repression is not good -it just cages the beast -so to speak.
What did Paul in the Bible say ? Something like -It is better to marry then burn -with sexual passion. He also said this was his opinion.

You cannot really generalize this way and pick whether its easier for a man or a woman. There are women that have way more sex drive than men. It has to do with the person.
