Is it normal for changes to occur in vaginal odor if you have increased the amount of your sexual activity?

General

I’m 18. I wasn’t a virgin but my first sexual activity was a while back and it was only one time. This is the first time it’s occuring routinely. I’m worried because there was some swelling recently, however I also experienced some dryness. I also showered today and noticed there was still some odor, it wasn’t strong. I’m just wondering if these are normal things or am I seeing the beginnings of a yeast infection?

looks like you have yeast infection!
and you must get rid of it as soon as it is possible!!

and if you really want to get rid of yeast infection then you must follow these tips:

    1) Eat yogurt. It contains helpful bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. It also works when applied topically. Insert some into the vagina using a finger or plastic tampon applicator. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.

    2) Douche with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp. vinegar in a quart of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no longer than a week.

    3) Decrease or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.

    4) Use a garlic clove as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent. Peel a fresh clove, wrap it in gauze and insert it into the vagina.

    5) Try gentian violet. It’s a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Swab the area with it once or twice a day. Make sure to use a thick pad – it stains everything.

    6) Use an herbal douche. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1/4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.

    7) You must use herbal treatment. In that case Yeastrol is really good (probably the best) product that gets rid of yeast infection comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that it wont reappear again!
And of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly). For me it worked very fast + I dont get yeast infections anymore…

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Yeastrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.yeastrol.com/?aid=221781

    good luck!

As for the swelling and dryness, are you having sex a lot? Like at least twice a day? Because that happened to me too, just because of the overuse. Take a day off and things should get better. As for the odor it depends on the smell. If it’s still a normal smell it’s probably okay. Yeast infection discharge has a sort of bready musky smell. They also have those new tests in drug stores that test your pH levels to try to diagnose what’s wrong. I would suggest that. Good Luck.

Actually vaginal swelling is normal after sex my older sister had the same thing at 20 I know this because I am nosy lol ! . The dryness means that you are you are dehydrated , just drink water or tea if you prefer . The odor means that it could be that it is in fact some sort of infection . But over all it could all mean that you are really horny ! Go get ‘em tiger ! LOL !
