I’m on the OrthoTriCyclen pills and I want to skip my period. I want to know if it increases my chances of getting pregnant if i immediately start a new pack and completely skip the week of the period? Or, is it better to just stop the pills now and get my period and then continue wiht a new pack of pills? please help!

On the TV show The Doctors, the gyn said it is okay to skip the sugar pills to not have a period. She said it is basically the same as taking the ones designed to not have periods. Sometimes it doesn’t work and you have some bleeding anyway.

you have to keep the pills to the allocated days, or it just gets out of order, and doesn’t work as well….i think

i did that and guess what i ended up pregnant..i think it was just that pill all together i don’t think it was strong enough for my body and that’s the reason i got pregnant..but i did that for three months before i got pregnant so i really don’t think that was my case..so i don’t think it would..
