Male sexual dysfunction, please give me advice!?

Tue, Jan 12, 2010

General

Guys, about a month ago my girlfriend was having her period and we had sex regardless. It was the first time I have ever had sex with a girl during her period and as much as I didn’t think it would bother me I couldn’t finish. Ever since I have been able to initially get an erection easily but when I start intercourse I lose it and can’t finish. I am not thinking about what happened a month ago, I think I might be nervous aswell but I still can’t figure it out. I am sure it’s a mind thing but the problem is the more times you are unsuccesful the more nervous you get the next time and the harder it becomes…
does any one have any advice/solutions?

  1. Dr. Kyron MD Says:

Erection problems in a healthy male are caused by two things: stress or circulation. The stress side of things can be nervousness, anxiety, guilt, fear, and so on. I cant really help you with that aspect because it needs a form of counseling to deal with it – and you cant do that over the internet.

If your problem is circulation, you can do something about that right away without any cost or treatment. Find a place where you can safely walk or run a significant distance (2 – 10 kilometres, more if your stamina is up to it) every day in bare feet. It is amazing the benefits of being barefoot. Reflexology tries to bring the concept into the modern world, but all it really does is emulate the way people were a few generations ago. Bare feet respond to the natural environment and stimulate the heart flow and nervous system in ways that cannot be otherwise achieved.

If you are going to try bare feet, do it for a month or so (remember that you are having to overcome the damage of probably many years of bad foot care by wearing shoes) and just see what the difference is. Every one of my patients who has tried this therapy has has remarkable results – not just in sexual matters but in their whole lifestyle.

I hope you give it a go and do it long enough to let your feet get tough and your body to respond to the reawakening of it new life.

it nerves homey. First time sex while she had her period can scar men emotionally whether you know it or not. try having a drink beforhand and it will go away.

There are plenty of reasons, A few are you were nervous ( this will either delay ejaculation or make it quicker), The attraction to your partner (she was on her period which probably turned you off) or the sensation to your area didn’t feel good ( go with a lubricant or lubricated condom)

Are you suggesting your girlfriend done this to you? Having sex while shes on her menstraul will not effect your erections.. just try relaxing the mood (candles, music, hot bath together) and only thinking about your partner and not past times.

Practice holding erection longer and longer.
No intercourse , just arousal and erection.
Practice made perfect. If unsuccessful , forget about sex .

It is both mind and body – as i found out when i had acupuncture. It works well. I’ve had it on occasion and have found it to work much better than pills. As for libido – try taking foods with more zink, reduce the amount of alcohol intake and smoking. Having an active mind does help.
