Our son is 14 and for over a year now has been having sexual intercourse with his 14 year old girlfriend. To control the situation our family supervises their sexual encoutours and we alternate in this with the family of the girl. We make strict inspections to make sure a condom is being used througout the whole process. But now our son says he does not think it is fair and should go both ways, so he wants to sit in our room, as we do with him and "supervise" the sexual activity of me and my wife. I find this childish, but how should I respond to him?

That he is 14 and having sex is a bit troubling, but apparently the lid is already off Pandora’s Box so no going back.
Your keeping tabs on things and requiring responsible behavior isn’t at all unreasonable. Teens often rebel against such perceived intrusions. To what extent the "supervision" is going is curious – are we talking ‘Visual inspection to assure correct installation’? I find that notion a bit out-there, but… if it’s keeping her from getting pregnant I suppose I can’t argue with results.
Regarding his demand to "supervise" – a definite NO. He’s a minor and you are responsible for the results of his actions. That means you’re entitled to conduct the parent-child relationship in a way that supports your role. It doesn’t go the other direction, though. Your son is not in a position to offer commentary or criticism on your actions as an adult.

Why in the world would you let a 14 year old have sex in the first place. Doing such requires a lot of responsibility that, quite frankly, a 14 year old does not have. I would stop his activity because accidents do happen.

first of all the 2 cases are different you are a married man so you can have sex how ever the heck you please and plus i don’tt care if you are supervising or not a 14 year old boy and girl should not be having sex!! sex is supposed to be between two ppl that honestly care about each other and know what love is!. correct me if i am wrong but do you honestly think that 14 year olds know what love is?!? no how many couples that start liking each other when they are 14 really last long? if it does happen it is VERY rare
and by the way God gave children parents for a reason and you are not being a parent it sounds like you are trying to be his friend an you need to be a parent to your child then work on the friend ship and since you are his parent you need to grow up and tell him NO and point out to him some points and even though he played the fairness card on you you are his father you tell him no thatsthe bottom line no if’s, or’s, and but’s about it… the answer is no
