For as long as I can remember when I’m having a sexual experience I typically can not maintain an erection without some kind of stimulation to my penis. If its being stimulated I can maintain one to ejaculate and as soon as I ejaculate I go totally soft (even when I was a kid this was the case).

I’m wondering if this would be considered ED? I’m 34, relatively healthy, a little overweight and I smoke on the weekends. I take two medicines-propecia and lexapro. I know the lexapro can reduce your libido which has happened with me but like I said, 90% of the time I can’t maintain an erection without the stimulation.

I did some research online about homeopathic remidies and started taking Korean Ginseng 2700mg a day and also got Yohimbe in liquid form. Has anyone tried either of these?

I am a healthy 25 year old male. I have been living with my gf for about a year now. We have always had a good sexual relationship. Having sex on average 3-5 times a week. With only a couple of exceptions I have never had a problem with my erections. Now over the last week I’ve been having a problem. It all starts out the same. We begin to make out and I become aroused quite easily, but as we get closer and closer to the point of insertion, my mind takes over. SSRI sexual side effects?

Due to my anger, panic attacks, and depression I apparently need to take some form of medication. I have been prescribed an SSRI twice, but the first time I quit taking it after only a few days. I quit because I noticed I could not get an erection. I then did some research and found out that erectile dysfunction can be caused by SSRIs and can also be permanent even after treatment has stopped. I got another prescription since I am just getting worse, but I can’t bring myself to take it knowing that the effects may be long-lasting. Is there any information about these effects that maybe I haven’t come across? I’m completely torn between potentially not having panic attacks daily and the risk of sexual dysfunction. Thank you!!

I feel like i have erectile dysfunction because when I’m having sex i reach orgasms very fast, sometimes to the point where its just ridiculous & embarrassing but somehow i have been able to gain a little ground with this problem and at least maintain a pretty decent erection to continue to have sex after i have reached a orgasm.
