Im taking a 3 year old bottle of Wellbutrin SR?

I am 15 years old and im a boy… I really dont want to go into alot of details because it would take forever.. About almost a year ago i think i was suicidal, severely depressed, severely anxous, cutting myself and starving myself.. I went on prozac while i was being counseled.. i took it for a long long time.. Prozac i hated because it literally rendered me incapable of feelling emotion due to how its an ssri and it stops the reuptake of serotonin while simaltaneously dropping dopamine transmission and dopamine AKA (the neurotransmitter repsonsible for allowing you to feel emotion!!!)…. i stopped taking prozac abrubptly..( I have been on ssri’s as a child so i knew what i was in for).. after i went through the withdrawal i swicted myself over to a bottle dated 07 2009 of wellbutrin sr.. wellbutrin is an ndri or norepinephrine dopamine reuptake inhibitor.. i switched because i cant feeel emotion and i am 15 years old with sexual arousal disorder and erectile dysfunction from prozac.. in order to reverse it i switched to a medidcation that raises the transmission of both norepinephrine and dopamine which would allow me to feel emotion… i started taking it half way throught my prozac withdrawal

I then told my psychiatrist that naughty thing i did without supervision but she then said althought it wasnt somethign she recommended i do i did enough research according to her that i actually switched right over to the medication she was going to switch me on only instead of the sr she would switch me to xl

The bottle im taking barely has any effect on me ???
its a bottle from the year 2009

since its from 07 2009 does that mean its effects and potency are gone completely….

i havent noticed what im looking for and switched over for and that was to feel emotion again both good and bad and be abel to get aroused and be able to get errections

I would like to know if because it is yearrrss old if that has any effect on its potency and the reason it isnt seeming to have an effect keeping in mind i gave it a month to initiate into my body

people who have experiences with wellbutrin and general knowledge of what the effects of time and erosion have on the potency of a pill of wellbutrin sr

Sexual side efects of anti-depressants?

I’m about to start on anti-depressant medication, but have heard it causes sexual side affects? Is this common and exactly what problems does it cause? I don’t want to ge ED (erectile dysfunction) or anything like that from the medicine. Also, if you do get sexual side affects do they go away after you stop the medication. Thanks.

I am posting this question for a co-worker.She got married a year back. At the wedding night the guy disclosed that he had sexual problems etc. and said he was being treated. Its been almost a year now and they both have no physical relationship whatsoever. He is constantly asking for more time and went to the doctor and told her that the doctor has prescribed him "paroxetine"…is this medication used for erectile dysfunction? Now this matter has become a serious one and she will be taking divorce on these bases.please advice us regarding this medication

I’m having it now, severely. Also, in my first sexual experience I couldnt’ get it up, but normally, especially when I wake up I am aroused.

Why is this? I’m thinking of getting tested by a urologist. Can it be fixed? I also have taken anxiety medication for years now.

Can synthroid cause erectile dysfunction?

I am a 38 year old male with hypothyroidism I have had great results with Synthroid, but the side effects leave me unable to perform sexually. I have also tried natural thyroid replacement, no sexual side effects but do not feel good on that medication. Any man with this problem? Please reply. Male hormone question – please help?

Can a male have too much male hormones? If so, what can be done to help this problem? I tend to get a burning sensation all throughout my body anytime there is any type of sexual stimulation. It usually lasts for a day, and I can feel the problem mainly in areas where I have body hair, so I feel its somehow related to my hormones. Its somewhat painful and makes it hard for me to concentrate on my work or schoolwork.
No, its not ejaculation…I’m 23 I know what that is. The feeling comes after ejaculation especially, but also with any type of stimulation like that. If it happens at night it keeps me awake and like I said during the day I can’t focus because it almost hurts.
Also what medication might be used to help this?

SSRI sexual side effects?

Due to my anger, panic attacks, and depression I apparently need to take some form of medication. I have been prescribed an SSRI twice, but the first time I quit taking it after only a few days. I quit because I noticed I could not get an erection. I then did some research and found out that erectile dysfunction can be caused by SSRIs and can also be permanent even after treatment has stopped. I got another prescription since I am just getting worse, but I can’t bring myself to take it knowing that the effects may be long-lasting. Is there any information about these effects that maybe I haven’t come across? I’m completely torn between potentially not having panic attacks daily and the risk of sexual dysfunction. Thank you!!

Schizophrenia and sexual function?
I have a paranoid schizophrenic boyfriend, 35 yrs of age. During sex, he is only interested in penetration. He is reluctant to kiss, or provide any kind of stimulation to me. In 2 years time I cannot figure out if he is just a lousy lover, or if his illness symptoms prevent him from true intimacy. He is reluctant to say more than "Don’t worry about it, I love you" Well, I am worried about it because I used to enjoy my sex life in previous relationships. I feel there is no passion in my life. My boyfriend is NOT dysfunctional sexually as a result of his antipsychotic medication.
