Unsatisfying orgasms and arousal issues (female)?

Over the past six months or so I’ve noticed a change in my orgasms, where instead of feeling pleasurable, it just feels like muscle contractions, leaving me unsatisfied and frustrated. I’ve begun seeing a new partner, and we’ve both noticed that I have trouble getting and staying aroused. I’ve never had to use lube before, but now it’s absolutely necessary. I can only go for ten minutes or so before I no longer feel like continuing. It’s extremely frustrating for both of us, and the fact that he can’t bring me to orgasm really upsets him. We’ve tried oral, digital, and using a toy on my clitoris, and each time I can only go for a few minutes before I either become too sore or disinterested.

I am on the antidepressant Celexa for an anxiety disorder, and the Ortho Evra birth control patch, both of which have the possibility of having arousal issues, however, I’ve been on both for over a year with only minimal side effects.

It’s getting to the point where I am so frustrated I’m considering of going off one or both of my medications. Is it probable that one or the other, or the combination of the two, is causing this, or is it just a phase? I’ve heard ginko pills can help counteract the sexual side effects of antidepressants, but haven’t tried them myself, are there any other over the counter remedies that you could recommend?

This is a problem that I think I have… Help please:
I’m a 31 y/o male, 5′11, 150 lb, no medical problems, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, don’t eat junk food, active.
I’ve been smoking cigarettes for 10 yrs… an average of 1 pack/day.

I’m sexually active… and I never thought I had ED… I haven’t gone to a Doctor… I get good erections but not as good as I wanted… I thought it could be a low sexual drive from stress, or lack of sleep ( I work overnight) UNTIL a took Viagra. I thought I didn’t need it… I just wanted to experiment with it (for fun), and I suddenly realized the difference. I thought I was a teenager again.

I did my research and now I know how harmful cigarette is for your arteries, and that it in fact it CAUSES erectile dysfunction… Now I’m going crazy because I do not want to be using no pills, and because I think I’m too young to be suffering from ED.

Question: I’m quitting smoking but CAN I REVERSE THE DAMAGE ALREADY DONE TO MY ARTERIES???

Would you rather have the ability to have sexual relations, or the ability to see or hear?

These pills out for erectile dysfunction or whatever, they can cause deafness and blindness. So I wonder, ladies, gentlemen, would you trade one ability for the other? I asked my girlfriend what a sexual fantasy of hers was and she responded by telling me about rough sex she with an x-boyfriend. Hearing about this bothered me greatly and made me feel very inadequate. I’m crushed that her fantasy is based off of her x and feel like I’m trying to live up to what someone else did. I know she loves me and I love her as well, this is the girl of my dreams, we’re moving in together shortly , but because of this I’m even starting to have sexual dysfunctions. I’ll prematurely ejaculate, then when we try to have sex again I’ll lose my erection. Afterwards all I can think is how she’s probably wishing she was still fucking the other guy. In terms of adults (and maybe in certain situation children and teens) getting help for psychological and physical adversions to sexuality and sexual activities. (And yes I know it can go to the other extreme and those people need help too)

I know our society does offer some help such as pills for both genders, counseling, etc but it’s not always strongly encouraged, in fact in some cultures (namely Christian, Jewish, and Muslim) in the US and outside the US seem to encourage a certain and sometimes extreme degrees of non-sexuality/sexual activity. But on some level it’s not healthy.
And I don’t mean just sexual but activities that can lead to sex. Some people are so affected by the Victorian-esque beleifs that they can’t even handle having a romantic relationship and the minor acts of affection that comes with that. (meaning: kissing, hand holding, etc)
Yes, I know from experience that the fact that coming from a very conservatively Christian family has ruined that part of my life. I do crave sex but I’ve pretty much been taught to dismiss it. The whole idea of waiting until marriage would only work if we had everyone get married by the time they hit 21.

i have a problem that really bugs me during sex. i can easily get an erection but after like 10 seconds of no stimulation my penis gets soft again. and not only that but i dont really feel much pleasure when my penis is stimulated. i’ve tried taking some kinds of sexual enhancer pills and they do work on keeping me erect but it takes away the feeling. and they give me a headache a while after i’ve ejaculated. so does Man Up Now work? does it get you hard and does it make sex feel very pleasurable? thanks for reading.

Is a penis a muscle?

Besides sexual stimulation, I know of some methods (whether its legit or not) that works out the penis through excercise.

Supposedly, these exercises can make the penis stronger.
First off, is it true? Because it would make sense if the penis is considered a muscle, because with muscle, you can always build mass. But I figure, because the penis is so different, I don’t know if its possible.

The exercise consist of putting on a light weight attachment and then lifting it similarly to a bicep curl.

Pills don’t work! So no need to make that suggestion.

this is a bit embarrasing but i have had e.d. from the first time i ever had sex. i am only 23 and keeping an erection is such a dificult task sex is almost not worth all the work. now im embarrased to say as a kid i was a constant masturbator. i still do that somtimes but not an extream amount like when i was about 13 or 14. i am concerned that all of that regular masturbatin when i was young could have made me less sensitive. becouse i dont relly feel stimulated during inercourse. thats probly why there is e.d. happaning here. however. i have less problems when alone. still have issues somtimes but its alot easier. another thing i find odd. is i cant reach a climax unless im laying flat on my back. that also kind of makes sex boring. after reciving oral sex about 7 years ago. sorry to be graphic but neither one of us relly knew what we were doing and i got some irritation from one of the girls teeth. once agin sorry for the details that place has ben slightly darker than the skin around it ever since. that it probly the least sensitive place i have. you could probly stab it with a needle and i would feel nuthing. im worried that all of these bad habbits in my younger days has caused loss of sensitivity resulting in e.d. im afraid maybe some scaring that this is a permanant thing. what can i do to help sensitivity? if i stop sex all together for an extended period of time will the sensitivity return? the ongest i have gone without sex is two weeks. i dont know if that would be enough time to tell if abstanance would help. any sugestions on how i can fix my little problem???? my doctor has dismissed the problem because he only wanted to perscribe pills like viagra. and i dont take pills of anykind unless ill die if i dont. i guess you could say im a natural health freak. i dont trust man made chemicals to say the least. i have good reason not too. anyways any thoughts???
