I am often accused of being ”homophobic” and ”ignorant”. I’m just against it because I believe it’s immoral and unnatural. In order for us to survive we need 2 of the opposite genders to create an offspring. How can both the same genders create an offspring? I consider bisexuality, homosexuality and transsexuality a sexual fetish. Like paraphilia. Transsexuality is a gender disorder listed as a mental illness in the DSM.
If transsexuality is listed as mental illness, a gender identity disorder to be exact, than why can’t bisexuality and homosexuality be listed as well? As of 2011. 3.5% of American adults identify as homosexual or bisexual. 0.3% are transsexual. That’s not that much. All it is, is just a sexual arousal to the opposite gender, or to be the opposite gender.
Am I still ”homophobic” and ”ignorant”? Homophobia means fear of homosexuals. People think it is a politically correct term for hatred of homosexuals. Fear is not hatred.

I am gay so why wouldn’t I support everyone like me? And why are you afraid of us? It’s not like we’re going to mass attack you and take your butt. We’re just folks trying to love and be loved like everyone else. We’re actually quite harmless.

I support LGBT rights for the same reason I support rights for idiots, fools and morons – because they’re all people, and people are too valuable to be demeaned and discriminated against just because someone else doesn’t happen to agree with them. I take it you disagree. Pity.

I support LGBT’s because my favorite uncle growing up was gay. He is a former district attorney and his partner went to college at 15, so I never understood how gays could be "dumb" or "ignorant". Homosexual acts occur among animals in nature–what could be more natural than that? The American Psychiatric Association, along with a host of others by the way, don’t list homosexuality as a mental disorder.

Maybe one day you will realize life is not about reproduction. Being different is not a disease. We didn’t come as far as we have by being all the same. Grow some balls and stop being afraid of stuff that will have no effect on you. You may find that homosexuals are just people and that’s it.

I see your point about reproduction, but if everyone had 3 children each – our society wouldn’t cope as there would be too many children, and like china.. limits to 1 child only and aborting the rest.
You have to really grow up, it’s like races and cultures – it’s all mixed now and you have to be able to cope with it. It’s how it was always meant to be otherwise it would of never happened and if you can’t cope you’ll have to go make up your own little world on an island to get away from everything.

First of all there are way to many people on this Earth. We could use more people not having kids. Also, homosexuals and bisexuals with same gender partners can have kids using surrogate mothers and sperm donations. The truth is, could transsexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality be mental disorders. Yeah. I’m not going to lie. Anything is possible. I myself am bi though, and I don’t want to believe it and I don’t believe it, but anything is possible. But nothing is wrong with it. It doesn’t interfere with our lives or others. The only thing making life difficult for us are the people telling us what we’re doing is wrong. That’s what I have a problem with. And I don’t believe life is all about procreation. Also, every single aspect of a human today were once some kind of disorder. It’s all part of evolution. And I believe your numbers are completely off. Just because so many adults identify don’t identify as any of those doesn’t mean that so many actually aren’t.

Love is love. You may think it’s "unnatural" or "gross" or whatever, but think about it: If a girl feels the same way about another girl as a girl feels about a guy, does this make them different? They both love someone. They are equal. I support LGBT because I am pro-love. The world doesn’t revolve around reproduction, you know.

I actually think your right, which is weird cause im LGBT. but i think you should except it because, we didn’t choice to be like this. we didn’t just wake up one day and say: "I think I will be gay." it just happened. you shouldn’t be against us when we didn’t choice to be this way.

Rights are something that are protected by the government, and as such should have no bias towards how someone chooses to consensually act with another adult citizen. There should be no difference in the eligibility of law because of whom one finds sexually attractive.
Whether or not you agree with their choices is completely beside the point.
Whether or not your personal beliefs coincide with theirs or not is completely beside the point.
Whether or not your personal religious affiliation accepts or condemns their behaviors is completely beside the point.
The government is set up to ensure equal rights for all citizens, and that’s it. Full Stop.
If the government legislates counter to equal rights for its citizens, it is acting unconstitutionally.
Here’s the bottom line. You don’t have to like homosexuality. You don’t have to promote it, and you dont’ have to endorse it.
But do you love your country?
Do you love the constitution?
Do you believe that the rights of the United States and its citizens within its boundaries should be ironclad and defended not only to the fullest extent of the law but with the lifesblood of our valiant men and women in the military?
If so, then get behind LGBT rights. It’s the right thing to do.

You are wrong, wrong, wrong. Homosexuality is neither immoral nor unnatural. Nothing says gay people can’t breed and homosexuality, bisexuaity and transsexuality are NOT paraphilias. You claim to know the DSM and you *know* they’re not listed with the paraphilias. Try another lie.
As of the DSM V, transsexuality is no longer listed as a disorder. You’re wrong again. Your statistics are out by more than half, and your so-called number for transsexuality is incorrect by nearly two orders of magnitude. Go learn some real facts to replace the lies you’re so ignorantly spouting off.
Yes you are homophobic. If you are as educated as you claim you will know very well that the ancient Greek word ‘phobos’ meand fear AND hatred. Yet again you try to lie and fail.
Why to I support equal rights? Because I have just as much right as you do to live my life the way I am meant to. You do not have the right to try and discriminate aginst me, no matter how much you try and lie in order to get it.
